This Policy explains what information CrewCommand ("we", "us"), operated by [your legal business name / LLC], collects and how we use it. CrewCommand is a US-based service for US customers.

1. Information we collect

• Account info you give us: your name, email, phone, company name, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
• Business data you enter: estimates, jobs, invoices, price books, checklists, job photos, and the customer details you add (your customers' names, phone numbers, emails, and addresses).
• Usage & device data: basic log information such as IP address and actions in the app, used for security and to run the service.
• Payments: handled by our payment provider (e.g., Stripe). We don't store your full card number.

2. How we use it

To provide and improve CrewCommand, to send the messages you choose to send to your customers, to provide support, to keep the service secure, and to comply with the law.

3. Your customers' information

You provide your customers' information, and we process it on your behalf only to provide the service to you. We do not use your customers' information for our own marketing, and we do not sell it.

4. When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run CrewCommand — for example, hosting, email/text delivery (such as Twilio or Resend), and payment processing (such as Stripe) — and only as needed to provide the service, or when required by law.

4a. AI features

Some optional features (on the AI plan) use a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) to help you draft estimates, scopes, and customer messages. When you use them, the text you submit — such as a job description or your price book item names — is sent to that provider only to generate your draft. It is not used to train their models, and you review and edit every draft before anything is sent or saved.

5. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on servers in the United States. Our team may access it from outside the US (for example, while traveling) to operate and support the service.

6. Security

We protect data with measures such as encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and signed, expiring links for shared documents. No system is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, then delete or anonymize it, except where we must keep it for legal or backup reasons.

8. Your choices & California rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account information, or ask us to. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including to know what we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" of personal information (we don't sell it). 9. Cookies & local storage

CrewCommand uses your device's local storage to keep you logged in and remember your language. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

10. Children

CrewCommand is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.
